Class action against IRCC – Preliminary inquiry Hello, April and May PNP online portal applicants: In light of what is happening with our application via online portal, as one of our ultimate resources to protect our right, I am writing here to look into the possibility of starting a Class action lawsuit against IRCC. If your situation falls under ALL listed below, and wish to participate in such a event should it ever happens, please using the Love bottom on Facebook so that I can tally how many people we might have on board. 1. You applied PR under PNP Non-express entry class using PR application portal in April 2021 or May 2021, and to your best recollection, your application was complete, and all fees were paid. 2. You have not yet received any correspondence from IRCC regarding your application (without AOR) 3. You have some sort of proof that you have applied, no need to be rock-solid. (Like Portal screenshots, proof of fee payment, electronic time stamps of scanned documents in your computer etc.) 4. You are willing to pay your share of the lawyer fee. (Amounts vary, more people participate, less cost for each individual) 5. You are willing to stay until the end. (Means that we do not reach individual settlement with IRCC until our collective agendas are met) Our demands (approximately) through this process are: 1. Within 30 days, all plaintiffs should receive AOR and all their applications should be put into process. 2. IRCC should commit that measurable, observable, and immediate action be taken to address the unjust processing sequence of application intakes (first come, first serve) Again, this is just a preliminary inquiry, and should only be taken when all other resources are exhausted. As I mentioned in a previous comment, we should raise our voice on social media, talk to news outlet, and speak with our local MPs about how severe this is and how many families are under the influence of the impact, BEFORE taking any legal actions as it is costly and time consuming. 感觉找律师直接怼和找报社大曝光搞事情用处大些，甚至上街、protest。不产生轰动效应那些官老爷们不痛不痒。 感觉找MP也不大管用，比如图中那个Aravind，感觉就是找了个agent按标准操作程序打发了。又或者他打开方式不对，如果不止叫MP去讨信息，而是请他去问责呢？不知有没有这个权限。或者如图中Jeff Zhang所说，找反对党的MP，搞事情，给压力，那帮bureaucrats呵呵，不抽起来才不愿意动 @那些官方帐号就更没用了，那些都是发贴机器人而已，那帮bureaucrats的fat ass才不会被网路上的random张三李四撼动，况且每天多少人应为各种原因@它们。 |
