中国驻多伦多领事馆何炜总领事首访温尼伯 Consul-General of The PRC in Toronto first visit Winnipeg
7月24日，中国驻多伦多领事馆何炜总领事携其夫人孙畅领事首次访问温尼伯，随同来访的还有张益群参赞，陈志山领事，杨葆华领事，李斯宁领事，王辉领事，韩文进领事及刘园园副领事。前省督李绍麟先生携李夫人带领温城中华文化中心(WCCCC)及众温尼伯华人社团代表接待了总领事一行。
On July 24th the Consul-General Of The People’sRepublic Of China in Toronto, Mr. HE Wei Consul General was accompanied by hiswife Consul Ms. SUN Chang during their first visit to Winnipeg. Along with themcame Counselor ZHANG YiQun, Consul CHEN ZhiShan, Consul YANG BaoHua, Consul LISiNing, Consul WANG Hui, Consul HAN WenJin and Vice-Consul LIU YuanYuan. Theformer Lieutenant Governor Hon. Philip. Lee was accompanied by his wife Ms.Anita Lee, the Winnipeg Chinese Cultural and Community Centre(WCCCC) andrepresentatives of the public Chinese committees of Winnipeg in the receptionof the Consul General.

7月25日, 总领事一行来到温城中华文化中心(WCCCC)的会议室与温尼伯当地华侨与社团代表人进行会谈,众代表对领事馆为当地华人做出的贡献表示感谢。
On July 25th, the Consul General consortium was invitedto come to the WCCCC to meet with WCCCC’s President Dr. Choy and therepresentatives of the local public Chinese committees.

会议结束后，总领事一行在金冠酒楼宴请温尼伯当地的华人社区及组织代表。当天应邀出席宴会的有上百人，其中不乏在、华人圈、极具影响力的宾客。 宴会在先后奏起的加拿大国歌与中华人民共和国国歌声中开场，何总领事发表了讲话，表达了对温尼伯华人热情接待的感谢，并传达了希望温尼伯华人越来越好的美好祝愿。随后，前省督李绍麟先生及WCCCC主席蔡镇潮教授也分别发表了演讲，表达了对总领事一行的热烈欢迎。
After the meeting, the Consul General and his consortiumwent to the formal welcoming banquet at Kum Koon Garden. Hundreds of guests were invited to attend thebanquet, many of them were influential figures of the local Chinese community. The banquet opened with both Canada and China’s NationalAnthem. The Consul General Mr. HE Wei made a speech, expressing his gratitudefor the warm reception by the local Chinese community, and conveyed his wishesthat the Winnipeg Chinese community will become better and better. The former Lieutenant Governor Hon. Philip. Lee and thePresident of the WCCCC, Dr. Choy, respectively, delivered a speech, and expresseda warm welcome to the Consul General and his fellow accompaniers.
